Verdict

Ugo Gregory has won three times here and has been thereabouts of late but the fast going is a worry and a chance is taken on SIR MAXI returning to form. The latter scored on similar underfoot conditions over track and trip last summer and can race off a lower mark with Oisin Murphy taking over the reins. Beltane has switched yards having been allowed to make all at Musselburgh but Boafo Boy has won off a higher mark on the all-weather and is unexposed on Turf.
