      Verdict

      WITHERNSEA is a rare winner in handicaps nowadays and drops in class for this. Richard Fahey’s charge should have the measure of these on today’s terms. Acrux has won a couple of times this year but has 10lb to find with the selection while Kody Ridge has an even tougher task having struggled in a claimer here last time, though beat Dandy Highwayman at Catterick last month. The latter was engaged to run at Redcar yesterday and the remainder have little chance at the weights.
