        Verdict

        Most of those with recent placed form have been drawn high so a chance is taken on WAR ENSIGN, who had been threatening before struggling in soft going last time. Poeta Brasileiro ran well over 5f at Chelmsford recently while Burtonwood finished in front of Arnold when going close over track and trip last month and was placed again from a high draw here last time. Archimedes was beaten only a head at Yarmouth while Oriental Splendour won from a low stall number here last month and Haydock third Red Allure has the worse of the draw.
