In depth

Verdict

Roger Fell is making a really good fist of training and is not far off 20 winners for the year. He has done extremely well with JUSTICE PLEASING since taking on the Kodiac gelding, landing two successes during the all-weather winter campaign at Newcastle, during which his charge performed with admirable consistency. If he's ready after a break and can transfer that form to turf, he'll prove hard to beat. Moi Aussie is the obvious one to benefit if the selection fails to fire as the Appleby gelding is proving really solid in handicaps around 7f to 1m despite having ascended to a career-high mark. Course and distance winner, Arcane Dancer is another sure to run his race with Old China and So It's War also of note along with Rosie Crowe.
