    Verdict

Zabeel Star won over 2m at Newcastle in February and was placed over the same trip last time. He can figure but Vampish is preferred having scored over track and trip earlier in the month on her first outing for a new trainer. She’s only 2lb higher today having beaten the re-opposing Quoteline Direct, Flower Power and MAJESTE on that occasion but the latter was having his first start since October and Rebecca Bastiman’s charge may well make up the two-length deficit on today’s more favourable terms.
