In depth

Verdict

This should not take too much winning and Ed Dunlop's Sharp Rigging would not have to be anything special to score on his debut. A half brother to a pair of two-year-old winners over this trip, the market should confirm that he will be good enough to win, despite a poor draw. Of those with racecourse experience showed enough promise on debut at Leicester to be given a chance here. Beaten two-and-a-half lengths into fourth there, the colt should improve on that here. Of the remainder, Caronte has been knocking on the door in similar company and should have a race in him in the near future, while Spitting Image cannot be discounted.
