In depth

Verdict

Tollard Royal made an impressive winning start at Kempton in August but was well beaten at long odds-on at Chelmsford later which can't have been his form. Guilin started odds-on for his debut at Southwell last month but just failed to get up before scoring narrowly at Kempton. There's probably more to come but STEVENSON, who stayed on very strongly in the latter event, showed the benefit when scoring there 10 days later and may reverse the form and take this. Heatherdown Hero was only caught close home at Southwell while Musical Romance was staying on over 7f at Kempton on debut.
