Proud Archi gained his fourth course victory but his first success for three years last month for which he's up 6lb. He remains well handicapped with Ugo Gregory on an earlier run when narrowly beaten in receipt of 3lb and was poorly drawn behind that winner on his penultimate start. BROKEN SPEAR has been running in stronger handicaps since scoring at this level at Chester in May. Narrowly beaten at Redcar last time, he's back on a winning mark and his rider's claim is a plus. Sibaaq has a fine record around here and, though 8lb higher than his latest track victory in April, has been running well enough to get into contention.
