    Verdict

This is a competitive little handicap in which Prenup, Wing Collar and Savannah River look to be the main protagonists and the confident vote is given to Prenup. The selection was a convincing winner at Brighton last time when defeating Wee Dinns. She is still open to plenty of improvement and with conditions to suit and the step up in trip unlikely to inconvenience her she is taken to score. Wing Collar has been in good form of late and has twice caught the eye when finishing in the places. He ran well at Ripon on his latest outing behind Daggers Canyon and with the step up in trip in his favour he could go well. Savannah River did not get the trip at Redcar last time and the return to this distance will suit. She could go well here but she has been a little disappointing overall so the percentage call is to take her on. Beacon Blue hails from the Mark Johnston yard so she has to be respected despite only showing moderate form last season, but Prenup sets a fair standard here and is given the vote.
