ALTHAROOS drops down in class after a pipe-opener at Sandown. The course and distance winner could have been better drawn but Dane O'Neill rides this track as well as anybody and Sir Michael Stoute's charge can enhance his yard's outstanding strike rate at this venue. Course specialist Shadowtime looks in the handicapper's grip at present but there's no shortage of other contenders with the still-improving Ready arriving on the back of a win at Haydock and Blue Maisey fresh from a recent success at Redcar.
