In depth

Verdict

The Fahey two-year-olds have been running well and Crownthorpe is a likely improver having failed to trouble the winner when third on his debut at Lingfield. Hot Rock finished just ahead of Poet's Dawn when a well-beaten fourth over track and trip but NOBLE MANNERS makes most appeal. Mark Johnston’s filly ran in snatches when fourth at Newmarket on her recent introduction and much better is expected here with that experience under her belt. Luis Fernandez is related to a host of winners and preferred to Porchy Party and Highland Bobby of the newcomers.
