In depth

Verdict

Cape Blanco won this for Ballydoyle last year and Treasure Beach attempts the same feat. The latter has a tough task, however, as America look to have a rare Turf star on their hands in POINT OF ENTRY. The latter had Aidan O'Brien's colt well behind when winning the Man O'War at Belmont in July and followed that up with an equally impressive victory in the Grade 1 Sword Dancer at Saratoga last time. Shug McGaughey's colt will be odds-on and hard to beat in this. Little Mike is another high-class Turf performer and looks next best having won a couple of Grade 1 events himself this year.
