Verdict

Gordon Elliott has set his stall out to win this with four entries. Amir Kabir was placed in a Fairyhouse Grade 3 in April and makes his handicap debut while Set Point has improved since getting good ground and completed a double though a massive 17lb rise makes this much tougher. Tronador could prove the stable pick as he arrives in winning form having scored on the Flat at Limerick a couple of weeks ago. Rachael has been booked for By Your Side, runner-up to Rock On Seamie at Downpatrick but having more scope than the winner. My Gaffer came in for strong support in a Limerick maiden and stayed on well after leading at the last. He makes his handicap debut on a lowly mark but the vote goes to MAGNOR GLORY, a Grade B handicap winner at Listowel in September and runner-up in a Killarney Listed handicap in May.
