High numbers are generally favoured on ground with some give here so Sky Vega, who has been a short-priced beaten favourite the last twice, is at a disadvantage. Colonel Whitehead is another drawn low though he looked progressive at Chelmsford and is on a fair mark. Miss Thoughtful is well berthed and did best when scoring over this trip at Lingfield but Bowling Russian was well beaten when strongly fancied at Goodwood. Chasanda finished last of four when favourite at Lingfield while Goodwood Rebel also finished last in a Salisbury nursery, though had run his best race on soft ground there earlier. Hidden Spell, beaten a neck on her debut on good to soft at Pontefract, hasn't had the best of luck in-running lately and should make a bold bid but the vote goes to GLEEDS GIRL, who has run well in her last two starts and should be suited by the easier conditions. Alix James ran very well in a better race than this at Chester on Saturday.
