In depth

Verdict

This looks another tricky contest in which we will give course specialist Voice Mail the tentative nod ahead of Piano Man and Desert Lightning. The selection has not won for some time but loves to win at Bath. The ground will pose as a question mark but having said that he looks to be running off a handy mark these days so if getting the run of the race he is more than capable of getting back in the winners enclosure. Piano Man is yet to win after nineteen races and is now becoming frustrating. He always runs his race but seems to forever be stuck in third or fourth place so is not one to rely on. Desert Lightning has not won this year but is another who has run well in defeat and wont mind the soft surface but for the winner we return to Voice Mail to get back to winning ways at his favourite track.
