        Verdict

        Playful and Tuscany Queen are both of interest on their first appearance on a racecourse but Multiple sets a decent standard and should prove tough to beat. The selection showed plenty of promise when chasing home She's Our Beauty on her Catterick debut before finishing a respectable fourth of 16 behind Zennerman at Haydock subsequently. Jamie Osborne has his string in much better form now so the daughter of Mull Of Kintyre can be expected to improve again and it will take a good one to beat her. The booking of Frankie Dettori for the Ron Hodges-trained In Fashion takes the eye but she would need to step up considerably on the form of her defeat behind another Osborne inmate Crocodile Bay at Windsor to trouble the selection and of more interest may be Mick Channon's Secret Night, who has been given a break since disappointing first time out at Thirsk. David Evans has done well with his youngsters this term so Gymbolini has to be respected under Jamie Spencer, while Ralph Beckett's Playful is bred to make a decent two-year-old and hails from a stable capable of producing one first time out. Tuscany Queen may need more time but it is impossible to ignore any juvenile trained by Richard Hannon. Multiple holds an obvious chance though and she gets the vote.
