        Verdict

        A weak contest but THE GAME IS ON may prove good enough. He posted his best effort so far when fourth over a mile here last week and Sir Mark Prescott’s charges usually improve for the step up in distance. Melo Pearl is another attempting a longer trip having placed over 7f at Brighton recently while Sari Mareis finished third over today’s trip at Chepstow before blotting her copybook when refusing to race at Lingfield a week ago. Colonelle was well beaten on her handicap debut and it remains to been seen if Uncertain Smile can do any better now handicapping have shown little so far.
