In depth

Verdict

Kodatish was sent off favourite over 6f here nine days ago but again found a couple too good and that may be the case again today. WHISTLING BUDDY gets the nod as he was placed in his first three starts and taking on better opposition at Lingfield last time. He finished ahead of both Dawn Catcher and Imperial Spirit here last month, though Tony Carroll's filly was making her debut that day. Tagalaka has his first run but hails from a yard that does well here with its juveniles and the 10,000euro purchase can't be ignored.
