In depth

Verdict

Aurelia Cotta beat Tunnel Tiger, who runs in the previous race, by a head at Warwick last month and is only 3lb higher. Spectator ran well enough over a mile here last time off today's mark to suggest he'll get involved, though he did finish behind Armourer off similar terms at Lingfield in December. Oyster takes a big step up in distance on her return but Choral Clan should stay, though was well beaten when tried in this grade last season. CLASSIC MISSION was held up and never figured when behind Spectator on his return but the extra distance today should see him in a better light and he can reverse placings and take this with Matthew Lawson's claim a bonus.
