This sprint for six-year-olds and older was won by Union Rose last year and he can go well again after a better effort here last time. But he’d earlier finished a long way behind BIG LACHIE when the latter was beaten only a neck over course and distance and Mark Loughnane’s charge may prove good enough racing off the same mark. Handytalk wasn’t beaten far when fourth at Chepstow but Moonraker never threatened when second over 5f here and Storm Melody has more to find to get involved. Cappananty Con has won a couple of lower grade sprints recently and Red Alert is back on a winning mark.
