    Verdict

    RIO ROYALE's late, late show at Brighton last time is just enough to swing the vote in his favour. Because he got up in the shadow of the post he might be better value for that success than the margin suggests so under just 2lb extra in the handicap he looks the call. Best One keeps finding one or two too good so another 1lb extra on his back won't help a change of fortune. Commandingpresence is still yet to score in 39 but went close from a comparable mark on his latest run while Green Lagonda was expected to go better last time and remains attractively treated. It's a tight race but Rio Royale can follow up.
