Verdict

Aquadabra won on fast ground here in July but was due to run yesterday at Musselburgh. Jim Rockford has been a beaten favourite in three of his last four starts but would have every chance on his second over 6f at Haydock in July. Wolverhampton winner Deviate was second over this trip at Ripon two runs ago but Fab has disappointed since her second to the smart Heartache on debut here. SPANISH STAR is likely to handle conditions better than most and hinted he’d appreciate a drop in distance after fading over slightly further here on his latest outing.
