Verdict

An open handicap but POWER OF DARKNESS has shown plenty of ability on both starts at a higher level since undergoing wind surgery in December and is expected to deliver a strong account dropping a grade to Class 3. The main concern is that ground with cut is an unknown but he's only had six starts in three seasons so more progression could well be forthcoming off an unchanged mark. In contrast, Livvys Dream, who moves back up in grade, has no soft ground concerns and looks a lively danger in receipt of weight all round, whilst a decent case can be made for the likes of Medieval, Lamloon and Wahash, with the latter preferred of that trio.
