    Verdict

Lady Zanzara , Bling and Gala Jackpot are three against the field in this open maiden and the tentative vote is given to Lady Zanzara. The selection was a fair third behind Calypso King last time out. That form sets the standard in the context of this race and she nee only run up to that mark to score. Bling rates the main danger as she showed a modicum of ability in a much better race behind Wake Up Maggie last time, she is sure to improve and should be noted in the market. Gala Jackpot is another worthy of respect as he hails from a top yard and is half-brother to winning miler Othybat but the suggestion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Of the remainder Hasty Passion is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but he is more exposed than most and for the winner we return to Lady Zanzara.
