In depth

Verdict

Sporting Gesture,Lucayan Dancer and Turbo are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the narrow vote is given to Turbo. The selection has dropped to a handy mark and was a fair fourth behind Bronwen last time out. This looks easier and as he will not mind any rain that falls he looks the value bet in an open affair. Sporting Gesture rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Sualda but he is running of a career high mark here and he looks no value at likely odds. Lucayan Dancer is another that could go well as he was a fair third behind James Caird last time. However he has yet to prove he stays this far and looks opposable on that basis. Gallant Boy goes well in this type of race and is sure to run his race but he is becoming hard to win with. Idealistic was a fair fourth behind Most Definitely last time but gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip while the booking of Nina Carberry for Sunday City catches the eye and he should be noted in the market but in a race that throws up more questions than answers and where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Turbo.
