Verdict

Castellated ran well behind subsequent Listed winner Coronet at Leicester and was then only beaten a length when third behind Belle Diva at Kempton. The second and fourth in that latter race have both won since and it won't be long before Richard Hannon's filly is opening her account but Coronet's trainer John Gosden should know where he stands with VANTAGE POINT. A son of Galileo out of a dual Grade 1 winner in the States, the latter looked set for big things when a staying-on second in a maiden at Newmarket that should produce plenty of winners. Sir Nigel Gresley was third over 7f at Sandown but a bit disappointing when stepped up to 1m1f at Goodwood on his second start.
