      Verdict

A large field goes to post for this claimer but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the main protagonists look to be Red Sovereign, La Vie Est Belle and Melody King with the confident vote going to Red Sovereign. The selection was a fair fifth in a much better race behind Nights Cross last time and need only run up to that mark to win this easily. He has conditions in his favour and is impossible to oppose. La Vie Est Belle rates the main danger on her latest fifth behind Simpsons Mount weakening only in the final furlong the drop to the minimum trip here will suit and she has definite place claims. Melody King was a fair fourth in a seller behind Inescapable last time and is another with place claims but it will be disappointing if he is good enough to defeat the selection. Of the remainder Called Up is from a shrewd yard and is one to note in the market but Red Sovereign is impossible to oppose under conditions that suit.
