In depth

Verdict

Bathwick Emma gets the confident vote and is taken to get the better of Colmar Supreme and Indian Lady. The selection has had plenty of chances but she ran well when last seen out at Chepstow in a nursery finishing third behind Charlton. She wasn't beaten far that day and as she is quickly turned-out today in what looks an easier race she should take plenty of beating. Colmar Supreme rates the main danger as she hails from a top yard and ran with promise at Leicester last time when finishing in mid-division behind Unique Moment. That was a significant improvement on her debut effort and if she improves again then she should go close. Indian Lady is interesting as she had been off the track for three months before returning to action and finishing fifth behind Jeanmaire at Windsor last month. That was an encouraging effort and she should be noted in the market. It will be a surprise if the other two runners are able to get competitive today, and for the winner we return to Bathwick Emma.
