    Verdict

ESCALATING will have benefited from a recent third over course and distance and has been dropped a pound since. He looked a promising sort in the first half of last season and is still lightly-raced. Extrasolar has failed to build on a third at Sandown three runs ago while Majestic Hero may also be regressing. But Edged Out and Silverrica both won in a lesser grade last time with the former preferred at the weights here. Dangerous Age would have a chance on his best form and Josephine Gordon takes off 7lb.
