Verdict

Phoebus Lescribaa has placed over fences and won over hurdles at Southwell in June. Richie Valentine beat First Revolution half-a-length on similar terms here last month but then blotted his copybook by running out on the final circuit at Uttoxeter in a race in which Mauricio was pulled up. SOME SPIN ran well over track and trip in April when 3lb higher. A bad mistake stopped him in his tracks subsequently at Worcester but he could go close today with a clear round. Lost In Montmartre and the returning Robin Des Theatre look best of the rest.
