In depth

Verdict

Vidi Ceaser, Ocean Dancer and Baron Aron look the principals in this open novices handicap chase and the vote goes to the top weight Ocean Dancer. The gelding from the Peter Beaumont yard has reportedly schooled well at home and he showed he was in fair form when second in a hurdle behind Beat The Heat. If the ground does not become to soft he will be hard to beat. Vidi Ceaser rates the main danger now he reverts back to a more suitable trip. Baron Aron could also go well but he has been let down by his jumping of late. Of the remainder Jans Dream looks well weighted but has failed to complete the course in her last four runs so we are happy to side with Ocean Dancer.
