Verdict

Puppet Warrior ended the last campaign with a second at Plumpton but there were only four runners. Frisco Bay could be well treated and is worth a market check following wind surgery while Spice War, twice a winner on the all-weather, has shown ability over hurdles, though soft going may not be ideal. Meep Meep was well backed at Market Rasen in July but there was little noticeable progress. WAZOWSKI is in the veteran stage now but seeks a third course win having been upped in trip recently. A further 3lb rise won’t help him today but Theo Gillard does claim 7lb.
