In depth

Verdict

Plenty to grab the interest in this novices' hurdle. New Street won twice on the Flat and made a smooth transition to hurdles at Stratford in March. There is more to come from Jim Best's charge and he's preferred to the other penalised runner Great Hall. The mares Lady Yeats and Precision Five were both winners on the Flat and weren't disgraced on their debuts over timber. Two Taffs won a Market Rasen bumper in March but DASHING OSCAR also looks a likely type. Bred for jumping being by Oscar out of a Supreme Leader mare, he has also won a bumper and pulled too hard when failing to figure in a Listed contest at Ascot when last seen. For Good Measure has plenty of scope so shouldn't be ignored.
