Verdict

Strumble Head finished ahead of Highway Code and Ffos Las specialist Sir Mattie here three weeks ago and should again do best of that trio, despite having gone up a couple of pounds since. But it's difficult to overlook the claims of PENA DORADA (NAP), whose latest win at Cartmel received a boost when the second won easily at Worcester earlier this week. The Scottish raider has struck up a good understanding with amateur Rachael McDonald, who takes off 7lb again here. Big Sound now looks in the handicapper's grip while Hinton Indiana needs a real test of stamina and Green Bank is still out of sorts.
