In depth

Verdict

Mullaghboy was second over track and trip earlier this month but this looks a more competitive affair. Stay In Touch makes more appeal than stable companion Danceintothelight but is now 0-10 over hurdles. This is a new trip for Vive Le Roi but he’s run well at Uttoxeter the last twice and James Nixon takes off 7lb. SILK RUN (NAP) bolted up in a mares’ maiden over 2m4f here last time. She’s been raised 5lb but Richard Johnson keeps the partnership intact and there is a good chance she’ll improve again now she’s got her head in front.
