Verdict

Of the three Midnights in this, Midnight Walk looks easily the pick having won by 10 lengths on her handicap debut over course and distance last month. She’s been raised 10lb but Donald McCain is putting up a useful 7lb claimer. However, she’s still giving plenty of weight to TOO MANY DIAMONDS (NAP) who has already recorded wide-margin victories at Plumpton and Sedgefield this month and is turned out again quickly under a double penalty – she’ll be going up more than 14lb when reassessed. Blue April is only a pound higher than when second at Exeter in February and looks the pick of the remainder.
