In depth

Verdict

This should not take a great deal of winning and Ginger McCain's The Rocking Dock is taken to follow up his Wetherby success and score at the main expense of Pinkerton Mill and Rothbury. The last mentioned looks to be going the right way now and could be of interest with more improvement likely. Keepasharplookout is hard to recommend on all known form and of more interest is the less exposed Never So Blue from the yard of Venetia Williams. Bamby has shown only a modicum of ability so far and a bigger threat is likely to come from Pinkerton Mill, who has faced some stiff tasks previously. The Rocking Dock was good value for his win at Wetherby though and should not be inconvenienced by today's softer ground and is he is taken to give Ginger McCain another winner at a track that he has a good record at.
