Verdict

For a horse that doesn't always appear to put it all in, SUMNER is having a cracking time and can gain a third win of the campaign. The champion jockey gets on well with the gelding who has been cleverly placed by William Davies. He shoulders a 7lb penalty for an easy Stratford success and there are significant question marks about all rivals. Shinken Otto looks a threat but prefers his beloved Sedgefield, likewise Ballabrook if he can regain something like his best. Pasdelou hasn't been seen since early 2010, Balnagore continues to emit mixed form signals and pulled up latest, whilst Mischief Man was beaten over sixty lengths on his latest outing. The latter looks well treated though if delivering his best.
