Verdict

Al Mabrook,Tommy Spar and The Glen look the three to concentrate on in an open finale and the vote goes to Tommy Spar. The selection was a fair fourth behind No Sam No last time and a reproduction of that effort under similar conditions here would make him hard to beat. Al Mabrook rates the main danger on his best form but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when he was well behind Ramblees Holly last time at his beloved Sedgefield. and for that reason he is opposed. The Glen is another that could go well but he looks to have plenty on off this mark. Of the remainder Iron N Gold and Ross Gee are from shrewd yards and are worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Tommy Spar.
