Verdict

Ballycoe landed a hat-trick earlier this year including a course and distance win on his latest start in April. But he has a 14lb hike to contend with on his return and KINGS CROSS is preferred. The latter also has his first start since April but faces an easier task than when beaten only a nose at Newbury. Mumgos Debut escapes a penalty for winning a conditionals’ chase at Hexham but this is much tougher and both Kilronan Castle and Zanstra make more appeal with recent pipe-openers under their belts.
