    Verdict

Midtech Valentine has a first run since April but is back in the right grade and any market support should be noted. Mr Caffrey reappeared at Uttoxeter last week and ran well off his new mark. He’ll go close if that hasn’t taken too much out of him but ROI DE DUBAI (NAP) was still in front and going well when unseating his rider at Bellewstown last month having won a shade cosily over this trip at Down Royal earlier. He’s on the upgrade and can recoup losses. Danceintothelight isn’t getting any younger but Abbie McCain’s 7lb claim will aid his cause and he may be a better bet than Travertine at the weights.
