Bentelimar, a Listed winner over hurdles, has been coming up against smart opposition over fences and was still in touch though under pressure when falling at the last in a lucrative handicap at Punchestown. That was in January so he may just need this but the progressive Roconga has to be considered after a fine opening run over fences at Killarney where he was in the lead at the last before staying on at one pace. Dual hurdles winner Billy's Hope has an excellent pedigree for chasing and her allowance should help on her debut over fences but this looks a fine opportunity for RATHVINDEN to gain his first success over the bigger obstacles. Only beaten 5l by Faugheen in the Neptune at Cheltenham in 2014, he didn't get much of a chance to make an impression on his chasing bow at Navan in December after a bad error at the second put him out of contention. He has the quality to make a smart chaser and can start making up for lost time.
