In depth

Verdict

Arzembouy Premier is only a four-year-old but has won twice in France and should definitely be scoring soon for Gordon Elliott and he'll appreciate this ground after being outpaced on fast going last time. Il Fenomeno has yet to hit the heights over fences but has been competing at a high level and his turn isn't far away. Abbey Lane has been a bit disappointing though he didn't run badly in a very tough novices' handicap at Fairyhouse where he was conceding weight to those who finished in front of him. CLONBANAN LAD has been unfortunate to come up against useful rivals and hasn't been disgraced. The opposition here doesn't look quite so strong so Henry De Bromhead's charge should gain his first victory over the bigger obstacles.
