Verdict

NESSUN DORMA looks the one to be on in this finale. A dual hurdles winner, Willie Mullins’ charge was only beaten half-a-length on his return to the Flat at Leopardstown and has plenty in hand of Awayinthewest on that run. Motcomb Street showed ability over timber last year but this will be his first run since September. More interesting is Davids Charm, in cracking form over hurdles in the second half of last year, winning three times. Lightly-raced, he is having a first run since December but should be worth following the next few months. Tornado Watch has won five times over timber and was second on his debut on the Flat at the Curragh earlier this month. The fast going would not have suited that day and he rates a danger.
