Verdict

KANESH, five times a winner between the flags, has only won a hunter chase under Rules but this looks his opportunity. His narrow defeat by Survival over this course and distance last month point to his obvious chance and he was taking on better company when occupying the same position behind Dedoctorsdaughter at Kilbeggan. Dominetta Vitali ran her best race for a long time over this trip at Tramore and should get into the frame in that kind of form but Abarta is inconsistent and though running well at Galway last time had been pulled up when fancied on his previous start on this track. Kalico Kim has yet to win over fences but produces the occasional big run and is very well handicapped if putting it all together.
