Verdict

Danelor, Hills of Gold and Cherished Number look the three to concentrate on in this competitive claimer and the vote is given to Hills Of Gold. The selection would win this easily on his best form but although he has been disappointing for no apparent reason of late. This is his easiest task to date and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Danelor rates the main danger but this hard puller may not last home on this ground and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Cherished Number is another worthy of respect but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time when everything was in his favour and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Neil's Legacy has conditions to suit and could go well at a price but he is far from consistent and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Hills Of Gold.
