        Verdict

        Crimson Knot wasn't beaten far when third over track and trip last month though it was fast ground. GOWANHARRY landed a double early this season that included a win at Newcastle in soft going and with an apprentice negating most of a subsequent rise in the weights, Michael Dods' charge gets the nod. Black Annis Bower is another recent winner on a fast surface but there was some cut when Alexandrakollontai scored over 6f at Hamilton back in May and he could figure. Jinky should handle the going and looks best of the rest.
