Verdict

A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual the betting will prove the best guide but the principals look to be Rouge Et Noir, Fairy Skin Maker and Elvis Returns and we will side with Rouge Et Noir. The gelding from the Mary Reveley yard was a good second on his debut behind Scotch Corner. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and will be hard to beat. Fairy Skin Maker rates the main danger on form but he is very one paced towards the end of his races and gain he may find one or two to good. Elvis Returns is a gelding by Alhaatim and is from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market. Word Gets Around Was third behind Ungaro in a fair bumper last time and is another that is sure to improve. Of the remainder Maggie Grey is from a yard that has a good strike rate in this sphere and is another to note but we are happy to stick with Rouge Et Noir
