Gulliver ended a long losing run on the Tapeta at Southwell 10 days ago but carries a 5lb penalty as does the hat-trick seeking RATHBONE. Both are still fairly weighted on past form, however, and the latter is due to be raised 11lb next week. Call Me Ginger carries an extra 8lb but is another arriving in peak form. Aplomb has had a light campaign and looked to be coming to hand at Goodwood when finishing ahead of Cairn Gorm and Punchbowl Flyer. He can reverse earlier Redcar running with Tinto and has solid each-way claims. Danzan, Abduction and Wobwobwob have been mainly racing over further but the latter did finish ahead of Monsieur Kodi in the Great St Wilfrid at Ripon, where he did well to place from a high draw. Jump The Gun was only a neck behind the selection at Doncaster but is worse off at the weights. Be Proud, representing local trainer Jim Goldie, may be the pick of the remainder.
