A dire contest where Persian Point is taken to follow up his recent Carlisle success now back over this trip, with The Frosty Ferret, Ideal Du Bois Beury and Been Here Before others to consider. The selection won a two mile event at Catterick on good to soft last time, when the strong pace brought his stamina in to play. Back over this longer this he should be even better suited, though a 9lb rise will not make things easy in spite of the out of form opposition. The Frosty Ferret is just about weighted to turn the tables with Ideal Du Bois Beury based on their running behind Nifty Roy here last month, while Been Here Before may be best of the rest. The six-year-old hasn't shown a huge amount thus far, but was in the process of improving when tipping up last time and if that hasn't had an adverse effect on him then he can be involved, but Persian Point is full of confidence and can go in again.
